Your current choice
Not made yet. Nothing optional is stored until you choose.
This page explains what midadenergy.com stores in your browser and why. It is operated by Midad National Energy Company.
The short version
This website sets no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies, and loads no third-party tracking of any kind. It stores two small items in your browser. One is needed to remember your cookie choice. The other is optional, and is only stored if you accept it.
What we store
Strictly speaking, neither item is a cookie. Both use your browser’s own storage, which works in a similar way, so this page treats them the same.
| Name | Type | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
me:consent | Necessary | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected campaign attribution, so we do not ask on every page. | 12 months, then we ask again |
me:attribution | Optional: campaign attribution | If you arrived through a campaign link, notes the campaign details in that link and sends them with any form you submit, so we can tell which campaigns bring enquiries. Stored only if you accept. | Until you close the browser tab |
Campaign details are the labels a link carries to say where it was placed, such as the name of a newsletter or an advertisement. They do not identify you. If you arrived without such a link, nothing is stored even if you accept.
Choosing and changing
When you first visit, a banner asks whether to allow campaign attribution. Accept and Reject are offered equally, and nothing optional is stored until you choose. Rejecting has no effect on how the site works.
You can change your choice at any time with the button at the top of this page. If you withdraw consent, the stored campaign details are deleted immediately.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a rejection and do not show the banner. You can still accept on this page if you wish.
Pages that set cookies
Only one area of the site sets cookies: the sign-in page used by our own staff to manage job openings. Those cookies keep a signed-in session and are strictly necessary. They are never set for visitors to the public pages.
Other websites
When you submit a form, your submission goes to our form service, Formspree. Submitting a form does not place cookies on this site. Websites we link to have their own cookie policies.
Controlling storage in your browser
You can also clear or block browser storage in your browser’s settings. Blocking it means we cannot remember your choice, so the banner will appear on each visit.
More information
How we handle personal data, including anything sent through our forms, is set out in our Privacy Policy. Questions about this page can be sent to info@midadenergy.com.
