Who we are
Midad Energy explores for and produces oil and gas, and invests in the infrastructure that carries it to market. Headquartered in Riyadh, we have worked alongside national oil companies and international operators in Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Egypt and Azerbaijan since 1994.

1994
Alongside bp, SOCAR and Statoil since 1994
The Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli production sharing agreement, signed in Baku in 1994, opened the Caspian to international investment. Midad Energy took part in it, contributing to early engineering, operational planning and investment structure alongside bp, SOCAR and Statoil. It is the reason we describe ourselves as an international company rather than a Saudi company that travels.
